How we met...

A month and a half and many late night phone calls later Jeremy flew out to California to meet me. I hid around the corner at the airport on the phone with my mom waiting to get my first glimpse. When I finally saw him I hung up the phone and we hugged for a long time. I then dropped him off at a local hotel and the next day picked him up and we went to Disneyland for the day. After the fireworks it “snowed” and they played “White Christmas” while we held each other and I just started crying. I knew I was in love! We spent the next 7 months flying back and forth - and even once going to Oregon so he could meet my mom. We’d had about enough of our sad airport goodbyes so Jeremy finally made the move to California in July of 2006.

After 2 and a half years of dating on February 17th, 2008 Jeremy and I went to Disneyland with our friends Christa, Dave and Raven. After an awesome day of fun we watched the fireworks in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. After the fireworks were done those fishy friends lead me over to where I met Jeremy on a bridge over the water in front of the castle. Jeremy asked me “Do you know where we are?” I said “nooo...yeah....” Jeremy said “This is where we went on our first date. I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” to which I of course said, “hrmm...let me think about it.” He then asked again, “will you marry me?” and I said “Yes, of course.” Then there was lots of hugs and crying and now we’re ENGAGED!
